The most renowned, Lascaux, was discovered in 1940 by a group of teenagers and features incredible cave paintings dating back 17,000 years. To protect this heritage, the original cave was closed to the public, but today, Lascaux IV offers an astonishing replica, allowing visitors to admire these ancient masterpieces without risking their deterioration.
